Who this policy is from

This policy explains how Nigel Neo (CEA Salesperson Registration Number R060495C), a salesperson registered with PropNex Realty Pte. Ltd. (CEA Estate Agent Licence Number L3008022J) (“I”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal data. It applies to the valuation request form on sghousingvaluation.com and to any follow-up that results from it.

We handle personal data in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

What we collect

Through the valuation request form, we collect only what is needed to prepare a valuation and to get back to you:

• About the property — property type, HDB flat type where applicable, development or address, postal code and unit number.
• About you — your name and mobile number.
• About your intentions — your property plans and your indicative selling timeframe.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, your NRIC number, financial account numbers, or any other identification numbers through this form.

Our web host may also record standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you viewed. This is used to keep the site working and secure.

Why we collect it, and what we do with it

• To prepare and deliver your complimentary valuation and, where you ask for it, the accompanying Property Intelligence Report.
• To contact you about that valuation by phone, SMS or messaging app, and to answer your questions.
• To understand your plans and timeframe so the advice we give is relevant to your situation.
• To keep records required of a licensed salesperson under CEA rules and other applicable law.

We rely on the consent you give when you tick the consent box on the form. We will not use your data for unrelated marketing without asking you separately.

Who can see it

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data, and we do not pass it to other agents or property developers for their own marketing.

Your details are held in the tools used to run this site and to prepare and follow up on your valuation. Named plainly, these are Netlify (which hosts this site and receives the form submission), Privyr (the customer relationship tool where your enquiry is recorded), and Google Sheets (a working record of enquiries received). Each of these providers processes the data on our instructions only, and none of them is permitted to use it for their own purposes.

We also use Google Ads conversion measurement to see which of our advertisements led to a valuation request. This records that a request was submitted, together with an identifier for the advertisement click that brought you here. It does not send Google your name, your phone number, your address or any other detail you typed into the form.

Beyond that, we disclose personal data solely where the law requires or permits it — for example to a regulator such as the Council for Estate Agencies, or in response to a lawful request.

Do Not Call Registry

By providing your Singapore telephone number and giving the consent above, you are giving us clear and unambiguous consent in written form to contact you at that number about your valuation request, including by voice call, SMS and messaging app, and you agree that this consent overrides any registration you may have with the Do Not Call Registry for that number. You may withdraw this consent at any time — see below.

Cookies and measurement

This site uses Google's advertising tag, which sets cookies in your browser and does two things.

Measurement. It tells us which advertisement produced a valuation request, by recording the click identifier Google adds to the web address when you arrive from one of our advertisements. That identifier is stored alongside your enquiry so we can tell which advertising is worth continuing.

Remarketing. The same tag adds your visit to an advertising audience held by Google, which allows us to show our own advertisements to people who have been to this site before. This is based on the fact that you visited — not on your name, your phone number, your address, or anything else you typed into the form, none of which is sent to Google.

We do not run analytics or behavioural tracking beyond this, we do not sell or share any audience with other agents or agencies, and no third party is permitted to use what is collected here for their own advertising. If you would rather not be included, most browsers can block third-party cookies, and Google's own advertising controls — including the ability to turn off personalised advertising entirely — are at myadcenter.google.com.

How long we keep it

We keep your data only as long as it serves the purposes above or as long as we are required to keep it by law — ordinarily 24 months from our last contact with you, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

How we protect it

We apply reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification or disposal. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Under the PDPA you may, at any time:

• Withdraw your consent to our continued collection, use or disclosure of your data. We will act on it within a reasonable time and tell you the likely consequences — in most cases we will no longer be able to prepare or update your valuation.
• Ask for access to the personal data we hold about you and how it has been used or disclosed in the past year.
• Ask us to correct anything inaccurate or incomplete.

Write to us at nigelneowh@gmail.com and we will respond as soon as reasonably possible. A reasonable fee may apply to an access request, and we will tell you the amount before processing it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed.
